Valentine's Day came and went
Another day on the calendar is spent
Many I love you's were said
People's carnal desires were often fed
And now the rain drips slowly
The flip side of the coin bared open to see
Life's not all hugs and kisses
Look to reality and hear what it says
Whispered hopes drop quietly
And seek safe havens, wherever they may be
